Obtuse Advertising
You know what gets my goat?
It's advertising that is so sophisticated that I don't get it!
I don't get the brand name, I don't get the message; and, even worse I don't know what need the brand is supposed to satisfy.
Good advertising must satisfy three objectives:
First it must be attractive in a way that appeals to the target market (TM).
Second, the brand name of the product or service that is being advertised should be clear because if the viewer does not remember the brand name it's a waste of time and money!
And finally the audience must know what the product or service is and how it can benefit them plain and simple! It's easy when you have "Marketing in Mind."
